Tasty chicken-flavored special toothpaste for dogs and brushes. The C.E.T. Dual-Enzyme System activates and strengthens the mouth's natural defense mechanisms. Regular brushing with C.E.T. toothpaste reduces plaque and consequently the formation of dental calculus, while also reducing bad breath. There is no need to rinse the pet's mouth after brushing. Your veterinarian will advise you on the appropriate brushing frequency for your dog.Basic guidelines for starting your dog's dental care:Begin dental hygiene when the teeth and gums are healthy. If you suspect that your dog's teeth/gums are not in good condition, let the veterinarian begin the oral hygiene treatment, then continue at home according to the veterinarian's instructions.Choose a place where your dog feels safe. Put a small amount of toothpaste on your finger and allow your dog to explore it. Most dogs enjoy the taste of the toothpaste. The next time, apply the toothpaste to your dog's teeth and gums. Once your dog is accustomed to this, you can start using a soft toothbrush designed for dogs.Wet the brush and place a small amount of toothpaste on it. Let your dog get familiar with the brush as well. Use back-and-forth motions, not up-and-down, to avoid gum irritation, and start brushing from the outer surface of the canine teeth moving backward to the outer surfaces of the molars. When a dog cleans the inner surfaces of its teeth with its tongue, brushing the outer surfaces is generally sufficient for plaque formation. Brush the incisors once the dog is accustomed to brushing.
