Aptus Attapectin is a mineral supplement for dogs and cats experiencing temporary digestive disturbances (acute diarrhea). The active ingredients in Attapectin, attapulgite and pectin, protect the intestinal walls and bind bacterial toxins and byproducts of intestinal fermentation, facilitating their removal from the digestive tract. With prolonged use, attapulgite and pectin can also bind beneficial substances such as concurrently administered medications, vitamins, and iron. For this reason, it is recommended to administer Attapectin at least three hours after medication.Dosage: It is crucial to provide the animal with sufficient fluids (at least 0.5–1 deciliters per kilogram per day), preferably an electrolyte solution (e.g., Nutrisal®). Fluid requirements increase if the animal is vomiting or experiencing severe diarrhea.The tablet can be crushed and mixed with water if necessary. Each tablet weighs 0.7 g.Shelf life: 3 yearsStorage: Store at room temperature (15–25 °C) in a dry place.
