Glucosamine, chondroitin sulfate, and collagen are key ingredients present in higher amounts to support joints as well as the musculoskeletal system. In addition to optimal energy content in the diet, support for the joint system is provided through a multi-faceted approach. This is done by adding L-Carnitine, which stimulates fat burning and thereby also supports the maintenance of muscle mass. Joint issues often involve pain and/or inflammatory responses. The amount of essential fatty acids known for their anti-inflammatory effects (such as EPA and DHA) has been increased in the recipe.
