Adaptil (D.A.P.) diffuser and solutionPheromone solution to calm dogs during frightening and new situations Indications: The Adaptil diffuser contains a calming pheromone for dogs that provides a natural, easy, and unique support for dogs experiencing fear and anxiety. The pheromone helps to prevent and reduce unwanted behaviors in stressful situations (fireworks, loud noises, being home alone) and aids in adapting to new environments (new home, moving, new family member or pet). In some cases, using an Adaptil collar along with the Adaptil diffuser or Adaptil spray can provide the best results. Consult your veterinarian before use. Fear due to fireworks and other loud noises - Plug in the Adaptil diffuser approximately 2 weeks before the expected fireworks. The longer the pheromone has to reassure your dog before the fireworks, the better. Adaptil spray can be applied to your dog’s resting area to enhance the effect of the Adaptil diffuser. Reducing stress caused by being home alone - Connect the diffuser in the room where your dog spends most of their time. Acclimating to new situations or environments (new home, moving, new family member or pet) - Plug in the Adaptil diffuser into a wall socket 24 hours before the arrival of the puppy/dog. Place the diffuser in the room where the dog sleeps and spends most of their time. One bottle lasts for about 4 weeks. The evaporation rate depends on ventilation and the diffuser's placement in the room. We recommend checking the liquid level approximately 3.5 weeks after use. The duration of use depends on the nature and origin of the problem, as well as any concurrent behavioral therapy. Replace the diffuser device after 6 months or after 6 refill bottles of use.
