Adaptil (D.A.P.) replacement bottle for diffuser Pheromone solution to calm dogs in frightening and new situations Indications: The Adaptil diffuser contains a calming pheromone that provides a natural, easy, and unique support to dogs facing fear and anxiety-inducing scenarios. The pheromone helps prevent and reduce unwanted behaviors during stressful situations (fireworks, loud noises, home alone), and assists in adapting to a new environment (new home, moving, new family member or pet). In certain situations, using the Adaptil collar together with the Adaptil diffuser or Adaptil spray may achieve the best results. Consult your veterinarian before use. Fear caused by fireworks and other loud noises - Plug in the Adaptil diffuser approximately 2 weeks before the expected fireworks. The longer the pheromone has to reassure the dog before the fireworks, the better. Adaptil spray can be applied to the dog's bedding to enhance the effect of the Adaptil diffuser. To reduce stress from being home alone - Plug in the diffuser in the room where the dog spends most of its time. Acclimatizing to new situations or environments (new home, moving, new family member or pet) - Connect the Adaptil diffuser to an outlet at floor level 24 hours before the puppy/dog arrives. Plug the diffuser into the room where the dog sleeps and spends most of its time. One bottle lasts approximately 4 weeks. The rate of evaporation depends on factors such as ventilation and the location of the diffuser in the room. We recommend checking the fluid level after about 3.5 weeks of use. The usage duration depends on the nature and origin of the issue as well as the concurrent usage of behavioral therapy. Replace the diffuser unit after 6 months or after using 6 refill bottles.
