Usage To achieve optimal effectiveness, it is recommended to add water to the BIOBAK preparation and allow the mixture to reach room temperature for a few hours before administering it to animals. This rehydrates Enterococcus faecium from its freeze-dried state, allowing it to multiply rapidly before entering the intestines. Enterococcus faecium prevents the adhesion of pathogenic bacteria to the intestinal wall and also protects the intestines from mechanical irritations. This also promotes nutrient absorption. Its use is justified in cases of diarrhea, as a supportive treatment alongside electrolyte therapy and always in conjunction with antibiotic treatment. Indications: Prevention of gastrointestinal disorders during weaning, animal transport, relocation, dietary changes, and antibiotic therapies.
